The point of putting this list together is to have a collection of trees that offer colour, berries and general interest throughout the year. The package is made up of 6 species containing 12 trees each hence 6 x 12 = 72 trees.
Please state at checkout if you WILL NOT accept substitutions from this list. Fir, Spruce, Pine, Larch, Cedar, Buddleia, Purple Beech, Norway Maple, Downy Birch, Hazel, Whitebeam, Red Oak, Red Alder, Bird Cherry, and Spindleberry. Unless you specify which species you prefer, we will choose from available stock and promise to make it varied and interesting.
At any time of the year we would expect to have at least 90% of this list available. If we are out of stock of one species, we will make it up with another listed below
Site Conditions And Evergreen Tree List

Feeding Or Fertilizing Hedges
This is a task that can easily be over done. Any nitrogen based fertilizer will do such as 20:20:10 but the longer lasting ones which take 18/24 months are better as they are regulated by the weather and moisture therefore release slowly.
Bio Fuels
If you are one of those lucky people that lead an eco lifestyle (VERY jealous if you are) and want to buy trees to burn, then maybe our wood burning chart (excel spread sheet) will help you decide. Ash, Eucalyptus Gunnii and Willow are worth looking at for their growth rates and calorific values.
