Leylandii Gold Hedging (Cupressus leylandii) Supplied Height 40-60cm Pack 25 trees**FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY EXCEPT SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS**

Price :£94.95

Leylandii is one of the fastest-growing hedging species we have available, growing by a staggering 75cm (2ft 6in) to 90cm (3ft) each year.   Its rapid growth is the reason it sometimes receives a bad press.  This is only as a result of its failure to be trimmed regularly.  Leylandii is a superb choice for a good, windproof hedge affording privacy and lessening noise for surroundings. We have either gold or green Leylandii available and we leave it for you to choose which colour. Leylandii prefers either a sunny or partially shady position.

Please use the Fastest-Growing Hedging League Table at the bottom of this description to compare Leylandii Hedging against other hedging types.

Benefits of using our plug plant trees

Our Leylandii hedging trees are sold as containerised plants, in other words the roots are encased in compost. This means that planting can be carried out at any time of the year, provided they are watered in periods of drought, compared to bare-root plants which can only be planted during the plants normal dormant period (November to March) and secondly containerised plants have a higher survival rate than bare-root plants.

Wholesale Tree Prices

We will be more than happy to provide quotations on the supply of quantities of 500 or more trees.  Please email us at info@trees-online.co.uk

How many Leylandii hedging trees do I need?

We recommend planting 2 plants per 1.5 metres (5ft), so this pack of 25 trees will cover 16.7 metres (approx 55ft 6in). This density of hedge planting makes a very effective screen.

Rabbit  and Deer Protection

We offer a range of tree shelters that will protect your hedging trees against possible attack.  Click on this Tree Protection Link and it will take you to all of these products.
