Evereste crab apple was introduced by us on a patio rootstock and has proved to be very popular, simply because its final height will only be between 1.8m (6ft) and 2.0m (6ft 8in), so ideal for keeping in containers on a patio or planting in a very small garden. Evereste produces a show of cup-shaped white flowers in late spring. Large quantities of cup-shaped, white flowers form red buds in late spring time, followed by large orange-yellow fruit , which are red-flushed, go to produce an eye catching display in late summer. This tree is best suited to a sunny position and this tree is tolerate of poor air quality, so ideal for planting in gardens near to busy roads. Expect a final height of 7m (23ft 4in). Evereste is supplied at of height of 1.0 metre in a 11.5 litre container, which means that the tree can be planted any time of the year and with better results than either bare-root or rootballed trees.
