Stunning cherry-red crab apples, in Autumn, mark Red Sentinel (Malus x robusta 'Red Sentinel) out as one of the most attractive crab apple varieties. In spring, pretty, pink-tinged, white flowers appeared which make for a blaze of colour. Like other crab apples, Red Sentinel is a small tree, with a final height of 5m (16ft 8in) and is tolerant of pollution, so ideal for small, town gardens where car fumes or industrial pollution is an issue. The fruit of this tree, if the birds do not get it, is likely to remain on the trees well into the winter, therefore making it a focal point in the garden during those dull winter months.
This tree is supplied at of height of between 1.5m and 1.7m and in a 12 litre container, which means that the tree can be planted any time of the year and with better results than either bare-root or rootballed trees.
Message card included at no additional cost if required. Just add the information required on the card at checkout.
Ornamental Tree Topping
