Adams Pearmain Eating Apple Tree is distinctive, crispy, attractive and late to provide fruit. A red/brown skin with a nutty flavour and rich aroma. Known for keeping well which is ideal for the self-sufficient amongst us.

It is considered slightly dryer than other apples which has the advantage of not dribbling down your face when taking a huge bite.

For those wanting to go back in time and live life like the Victorians, you will need these on your table as it was popular with them.

Month of Picking: October

Type of Apple: Cooking/Eating

Fertility: This apple is not self-fertile and requires another apple tree from the C1, C2 or C3 flowering periods to produce apples.

This apple is in flowering period is C2.

Available only on an M9 cordon rootstock. This means the main branches have been removed from the tree to promote considerably earlier fruiting, possibly same year of purchase under ideal conditions. Mature height of the tree will be around 2 metres or 7 ft.

Trouble Choosing
Cannot decide which fruit tree? Take a look at our TOP SELLING FRUIT TREES

Wet Ground
If you have wet conditions then choose a PEAR TREE first, followed by APPLE TREES. They don't prefer it but will tolerate water, H2O or liquid better, depending which one you have most of!

General Fruit Tree Life Expectancy
Most fruit trees will give you AT LEAST 40 years of fruit. Pears can go to 70. Records of 200 year old trees exist but this is the exception, not the rule.
