A small flowering cherry, Okame, has finely toothed dark green leaves which change to colourful shades of red and orange during autumn. Fragranted, carmine-pink flowers develop in masses in early spring. An ideal early flowering cherry which looks particularly attractive in small gardens. Expect a final height of 4m (13ft 4in). This tree is supplied at a height of between 1.5m (5ft) to 1.7m (5ft 6in) and in a 12L container, which means that the tree can be planted any time of the year and with better results than either bare-root or rootballed trees.
