A tree native to South Korea, the Ravensbill Mountain Ash or Rowan tree (Sorbus 'Ravensbill') is an interesting small to medium sized tree with an upright, oval shape. The leaves are made up of long, elegant leaflets that turn a delightful yellow-orange in the autumn. Large clusters of small orange fruit are a real attraction of this tree, however the most distinguishing feature is the long curved, blue-black winter buds from which it is named. A small height tree, so expect a height of up to 4 metres (13 foot) after 10 years. This tree is supplied at a height of between 1.50 and 1.70 metres and supplied in a 12 litre container for year round planting and better results than from either bare-root or rootballed stock.
