Honeysuckle Shrubs

Fragrant summer cover starts affordably with our native honeysuckle plants. These young cell grown climbing honeysuckle plants are quick and easy to plant, establish fast and can be planted for most of the year. Their contained roots lower planting risk, while the price makes it practical to order around 10% extra honeysuckle plants to pot on as spares. They are suitable for quantity planting, inspected before dispatch, covered by our limited Tree Warranty terms and delivered free.

Lonicera periclymenum, also known as wild honeysuckle or woodbine, is a vigorous twining deciduous climber rather than a conventional shrub. Its very fragrant white to cream tubular flowers are flushed reddish-purple outside and open during summer, followed by glossy red ornamental berries. It grows best in partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil and will need suitable support as it develops.

If you cannot find the wild honeysuckle plants you need, or want a better price for native honeysuckle plants in a large project, please contact us.
