Our 10–60cm hazel saplings make coppice and woodland planting more affordable. These low-cost cell grown trees are quick and easy to plant, establish fast and can be planted for most of the year. Their established root plugs lower failure risk, while the price makes it practical to order around 10% extra hazel tree saplings to pot on as spares. Every tree is inspected before dispatch, covered by our limited Tree Warranty terms and delivered free.
Hazel trees produce early catkins and autumn nuts and respond well to coppicing. Hazel seedlings provide foliage and nuts for wildlife as they mature. Starting with hazelnut saplings or hazel tree seedlings reduces the cost of establishing long-term woodland structure.
