Looking for native lime hedging plants?
Our cheap 1-year-old cell grown plants are one of the easiest, fastest and lowest-risk ways to establish a small leaved lime hedge, and they can be planted for most of the year. They require less digging than bare-root alternatives, while the low price makes it practical to order around 10% extra and pot them up as replacements for any future gaps.
These plug plants develop into attractive hedge saplings with fresh, heart-shaped foliage and scented summer flowers that provide nectar for pollinating insects. Small-leaved lime is hardy, grows in sun or partial shade, responds well to regular trimming and works particularly well in wildlife-friendly or mixed native hedges.
