Fiesta or Red Pippin (Malus domestica 'Fiesta') was introduced in 1972. It is the result of a cross between the apple varieties Cox's Orange Pippin x Idared. Fiesta apples have a very rich, aromatic and sweet taste with a crisp texture. An excellent garden tree with Cox-like characteristics. Fiesta produces very heavy crops. Of particular importance is it suitability for Northern Areas.
